A bit of history.

Amopix is a Strasbourg- based production and post-production company. Since its creation in 2002 the company has specialised itself in the mixing of live action footage and 2D/3D motion designs.

From 2002 to 2008 the projects were mainly the work of Mathieu Rolin ,the creator of the company set up for a collective of 3 others. When one of these companies ceased its activity, Amopix reoriented its work and fields of actions towards TV and cinema. Quickly connections were made with local companies and museums. Shortly after new projects were born such as Naturbis and Redux.

Amopix keeps on working for agencies doing corporate, ads and motion designs but aims at developing its own and creative productions. This is how since the end of 2010 Amopix has developed with France Television, "The old man and the Fables", portraying an 83- year- old illustrator who draws illustrations coming to life, "On the paths of the memory", a scientific documentary setting its action on one day only and very recently a feature animation film "Approved for adoption" produced by Mosaïque and France TV. Amopix is the executive producer of this feature producing 40 characters and compositing 500 shots mixing 3D animation with 2D backgrounds.
